July Update—Ships, Towers, and Mischief in the Port of Eole

July Update—Ships, Towers, and Mischief in the Port of Eole

Hark, adventurers!

It’s been another month of dice, ink, and ale here at Vestibule Press as we keep building out our three-act Eolay campaign beyond the initial launch trilogy—The Light Below Blufftop, The Tomb of Arathenkor, and The Isle of Redsky, the subject of last month’s update.

Since then, our playtest groups in Los Angeles and New York have officially made landfall in Port of Eole—the largest settlement on the Isle of Eolay and center of its trade and commerce. Think terracotta roofs, bustling promenades, palatial seaside manor houses, and a maze of cobblestone alleyways where you can buy anything from smuggled goat cheese to salacious rumors about the Commerce Authority… or, you know, get mugged for your last silver piece. Ancient ruins rumble beneath the streets, merchants haggle above, and chaos brews in every district. In other words, Act 2 playtesting is in full swing.

More big news: the first draft of the Eolay Traveler’s Guide is officially complete! This handy little tome is basically everything a would-be hero (or villain) needs to build a background or avoid looking like a total tourist when stepping onto Eolay’s shores. A little local color, a few helpful tables, some cool shop inventory lists, and just enough culture oddities to keep things interesting. Expect all 55 pages to hit the Vestibule Press shop soon.

Finally, our latest ASMR video (featuring editor Ivy St. Ive and some incredible dice sets from Urwizards, Crystal Maggie, and Dispel Dice) is live on the Vestibule Press YouTube. Macro shots, rolling sounds, elf ears—the whole package. It even helped us cross 1,000 followers this month on Instagram, so thanks for sticking around and watching us play with shiny math rocks.

More map packs, more content drops, and more sneak peeks coming soon. In the meantime, stay sharp, keep your spell slots handy, and maybe… don’t trust anyone dressed in red leather in Port of Eole.
