About us

Vestibule Press is an independent game studio based in Brooklyn, New York. We create adventures, lore, and gatherings for the fantasy-inclined.

Our initial offerings take place in Eolay—an original setting designed to be explored through tabletop roleplaying adventures compatible with your favorite systems. In time, Vestibule Press plans to expand into events, publications, gatherings, and other curious corners of fantasy life.

Themes

Conceptual fantasy

Inspired by classic imagined worlds like Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea, to Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, to Federico Fellini's Satyricon, our ethos is rooted in a quieter, enigmatic, and more contemplative vision of fantasy. We believe tabletop roleplaying is not merely a hobby, but a true creative medium: part storytelling tradition, part collaborative myth-making.

Strategy

Adaptable Approach

We take a story-first, system-agnostic approach, crafting adventures that can be adapted into a variety of game systems, tables, and playstyles. Just as importantly, we seek to help cultivate a new wave of fantasy creators, writers, and players — one shaped by original voices, daring perspectives, and worlds that feel expansive enough for all to see themselves inside.

Design

Experiential Clarity

Drawing on our backgrounds in visual, UX, and immersive design, our materials are crafted to be cohesive, intuitive, and easy to use—down to the smallest details. We seek to find synergy across media, employing the same quality of craft in both print and digital releases.

Hand-made by humans

We value the authenticity of creative expression above all. The human element is what makes this entire endeavor worthwhile for us. Because of this, we have committed to never using generative AI output in any of our products. All writing, design, and artwork is original and crafted in its entirety by consenting humans.
