Jan Update — The Soft Launch
If you're reading this, you're probably one of the friends and family we're starting to slowly roll out our soft launch to. We've been busy getting the foundations set up: our social handles locked down, our domains and email routing, and getting our Discord set up (link coming soon).
Last week we released our first product: an alpha version of Isle of Redsky, an adventure module for 5E designed for early tier-2 gameplay (characters level 5–7). It's currently on sale as a part of our soft opening. If you buy it now at the sale price, you can download the release version when it's ready. You'll automatically get an email letting you know that it's been updated.
We don't foresee too much changing in it other than some art updates and balance tweaks as we are able to playtest it more broadly. If you have feedback, drop us a line and we'll make sure to address it in upcoming versions.
Additionally, our tier-1 one shot Tomb of Arathenkor is well under way—our first draft of it is written, and soon to start being proofed, typeset, and illustrated. This is a mini dungeon we've had a lot of fun play testing with our groups, and are excited for it to serve as another adventure module in the similar vein as Isle of Redsky.
There's a lot of juicy lore nuggets that can be unearthed in it, making it an especially rewarding supplement to the main Eolay campaign. Starting with smaller modules like this (instead of releasing the big, main campaign first), is really helping us develop our production process and showcase some vertical slices that set the bar high.
We're building up momentum for our official debut and looking forward to powering through the next few weeks.
May the muses guide you,
